Hoolio Ingram Identified as Suspect in Lake Cargelligo Triple Murder Case

LAKE CARGELLIGO NSW, Police have identified Hoolio Ingram, also known as Julian Peirpoint, as the suspect in a deadly shooting that claimed the lives of three people and left another man seriously injured in Lake Cargelligo on Thursday afternoon. Authorities confirmed the suspect is still at large as a major police operation continues across the area.

Emergency crews were called to Walker Street near Yelkin Street at about 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, following reports that a man had fired a weapon. When officers arrived, they found three victims deceased at the scene, including two women and one man. Police later confirmed that one of the women was pregnant. A fourth victim, a man, was taken to hospital and is reported to be in serious but stable condition.

New South Wales Police established a crime scene and began an extensive investigation into the incident. Assistant Commissioner Andy Holland confirmed that a suspect has been identified and that a coordinated search operation is underway.

Investigators stated that the suspect fled the scene in a council-owned vehicle. Police also confirmed that an Apprehended Violence Order was in place against Ingram at the time of the shooting. Authorities said he is employed by the Lachlan Shire Council.

As a safety measure, Lake Cargelligo has been placed under lockdown. Residents were advised to stay inside their homes, and drivers were warned not to enter the town or nearby areas until further notice. Road closures remain in effect as police continue their search.
