Authorities say the investigation began in March after the student’s parents became concerned when he began returning home late at night.

According to reports, the parents tracked their son’s location and found he was at an unfamiliar residence. When questioned, the student initially said he was at his girlfriend’s house but did not reveal her identity.

The student later reportedly admitted that he was at Rose’s home and had been involved in a relationship with the teacher.

Investigators say communication between the teacher and student began on social media in November 2025, and the relationship allegedly became physical in February.

Rose faces multiple charges related to unlawful sexual activity with a minor and abuse of authority.

Authorities emphasized that relationships of this nature involve a serious breach of trust and are subject to criminal investigation regardless of alleged consent.

Officials also stated that the investigation remains active, and detectives are working to determine whether there may be additional victims.

Rose is currently being held without bond, and her arraignment is scheduled for May 5.
