Rhode Island DHS Seeking Relatives or Friends of Tiverton Man Who Recently Died

TIVERTON RHODE ISLAND, The Rhode Island Department of Human Services is seeking relatives or friends of a local man who recently passed away.

Officials are requesting information regarding next of kin for 69-year-old Joseph Farias, who died on February 4, 2026, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.

Farias’ last known address was 475 Fish Road in Tiverton.

Anyone with information about relatives or friends who may serve as next of kin is asked to contact the Rhode Island Department of Human Services at (401) 462-7952.

Officials stated that burial arrangements are expected to take place on or after March 14, 2026.
