San Antonio Police Charge Two Suspects in Deadly Amazon Parking Lot Shooting

SAN ANTONIO, Two men have been formally charged with murder following a deadly shooting outside an Amazon fulfillment center in Far West Bexar County, an incident that left one man dead and another injured, authorities said.

Jamari McKillion, 21, and David Perez Morales Jr., 20, were arrested and each charged with first-degree felony murder in connection with the shooting, which occurred around 10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Amazon Fulfillment Center near U.S. Highway 90 West and Loop 1604.

Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies responding to the scene found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to a hospital, where Katrael Delosier later died from his injuries. A second victim, Johnny Bermea III, was treated and listed in stable condition.

According to investigators, the shooting followed an apparent altercation earlier in the evening involving an Amazon employee and Bermea. Authorities said witnesses reported that during a scheduled work break, Bermea was lured toward a vehicle parked in the lot. As he approached, a man exited the vehicle and opened fire before fleeing the scene.

An arrest affidavit states that McKillion was driving the vehicle involved in the shooting. Investigators said surveillance video, witness statements, and cell phone location data place him at the scene and link him to the events leading up to the shooting. Authorities believe Morales, who was also in the vehicle, was the person who fired the shots that resulted in Delosier’s death.

McKillion was taken into custody the following day at his workplace, another Amazon facility in San Antonio. His vehicle was seized as part of the investigation. Morales was also arrested and booked on the murder charge.

The investigation remains ongoing as the case moves through the court system. Community members continue to mourn the loss of Katrael Delosier, while authorities said they remain focused on ensuring accountability through the legal process.
