Authorities said Anthony Richardson, 38, was last seen on January 28, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m. when he left his residence during the night. At the time, Richardson was wearing an orange puffer jacket, black pants, and purple shoes.

According to the Ouachita County Sheriff’s Office, Richardson has diminished mental capacity and had not been taking his prescribed medications prior to his disappearance. He is described as weighing about 200 pounds, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with brown hair, blue eyes, and red facial hair.

On Saturday, January 31, at 8:39 a.m., deputies provided an update to residents in the East Camden and Harmony Grove areas, asking community members to help check properties where Richardson may have sought shelter for warmth.

Later that same day, a more extensive search effort was conducted, involving on-foot search teams, ATVs, and the Ouachita County Drone Team. Crews searched wooded areas as well as nearby locations but were unable to locate Richardson.

Despite those efforts, authorities said the search concluded without any sign of him. With colder temperatures affecting the area, deputies continued to request public assistance, urging residents to check carports, garages, barns, sheds, outbuildings, vacant structures, and other enclosed or partially enclosed spaces on their property.

For residents without access to social media, the sheriff’s office asked those who are online to help spread the word and notify neighbors about checking around their homes.
