Bristol County Highway Crash Sends 11 to Hospital, Multiple Agencies Respond

BRISTOL COUNTY MASSACHUSETTS, Five local fire departments responded Friday morning to a motor vehicle crash on Interstate 95 North near Exit 6.
According to the Attleboro Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched just after 9:15 a.m. for a reported two-vehicle crash.
When crews arrived, they found minor damage to a group home van that was carrying seven residents and four staff members at the time of the incident. All occupants were evaluated at the scene.
All 11 individuals in the van were transported to local hospitals by the Attleboro and North Attleboro Fire Departments for evaluation. Officials said all reported minor or no injuries, but group home policy requires hospital evaluation for all occupants following a crash.
The driver of the second vehicle involved was not injured.
The Central Falls (Rhode Island), Mansfield, and Plainville Fire Departments provided mutual aid assistance.
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the crash.
