Chicago Update: 24-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in East Garfield Park Neighborhood Incident

CHICAGO police are investigating a shooting that left a 24-year-old man dead early Saturday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, according to officials.
The incident occurred around 3:06 a.m. in the 700 block of North Lawndale Avenue on the city’s West Side.
Authorities said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police reported that the man was transported to Stroger Hospital by friends rather than emergency responders.
Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The victim has been identified as Glo Shug.

Chicago police stated that witnesses at the scene have been uncooperative, which has created challenges for investigators.
