The Oakley Police Department said it is assisting the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office with an active investigation near the 4300 block of Gold Run Drive. Officials confirmed the incident involves an armed subject who has not yet been taken into custody.
Police described the suspect as a white adult male in his mid-40s, last seen wearing a hat and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
