One Killed, Several Injured in Deadly Holiday Shooting in Lancaster

Christmas Day shooting left one person dead and multiple others injured after gunfire erupted in a Lancaster neighborhood, disrupting the holiday on Wednesday.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of multiple people being shot in the area of Challenger Way and Avenue K-4, near Angela Court. When deputies arrived, they located a gunshot victim near 11th Street East and Angela Court. Life-saving measures, including CPR, were immediately performed, but the victim later died from their injuries.
