Islington Police Investigate Fatal Incident After 15-Year-Old Boy Dies

Police appeal: A 15-year-old boy has died following a stabbing in Islington, London, with the Metropolitan Police launching a major investigation.
Emergency services were called to Westbourne Road, near the junction with Sheringham Road, at about 1:02 p.m. on December 9. The boy was treated at the scene and taken to hospital, where he died a short time later.
Police said the boy’s family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.
A crime scene has been put in place across areas including Atlas Mews, Westbourne Road, and Arundel Square while detectives carry out enquiries, review CCTV, and speak with witnesses to establish what happened.
No arrests were announced in the information available at the time of reporting. Police are asking anyone with information, including CCTV or dash-cam footage, to come forward.
