Hoover Fatality: Ignatius Techie Dies After Collision With Truck on Interstate 65

A 55-year-old man has died after a collision involving an 18-wheeler on Interstate 65 in Hoover, authorities confirmed. The victim has been identified as Ignatius Techie.
The crash occurred on a section of I-65 in the Hoover area when the truck and Techie’s vehicle were involved in a collision under circumstances still under investigation. First responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after reports of a serious crash, and emergency crews worked to secure the area and provide aid.
Despite lifesaving efforts at the scene, Techie succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Officials have not yet released details about how the crash occurred or whether any other vehicles were involved.
