WINNERSH, Motorists faced major disruption on the A329(M) westbound on Tuesday evening after a crash partially blocked the carriageway, resulting in severe delays and extremely slow-moving traffic during the busy rush hour period.

Traffic reports indicated delays of around 33 minutes between M4 Junction 10, serving Wokingham and Bracknell, and the A3290 at Winnersh Triangle. Average speeds in the area dropped sharply, with vehicles moving at just five miles per hour.

By 6:46 p.m., congestion had continued to build along the A-road. Traffic monitoring services showed long queues forming, while the AA traffic map highlighted significant delays throughout the area. The AA confirmed the disruption, reporting that the westbound carriageway was affected by a crash between M4 J10 and Winnersh Triangle.

Traffic was backing up between A329 Berkshire Way near Coppid Beech Roundabout and Winnersh Triangle as vehicles struggled to pass through the affected section.
