SHANNYN CALDWELL, passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, faith, and joy that deeply touched her family, friends, and the wider community.

Born and raised in Iron Mountain, Michigan, Shannyn Caldwell was a beloved author, traditional naturopath, radio host, and wellness advocate whose life was defined by service to others. She was widely admired for her commitment to holistic health, spiritual growth, and the meaningful connections she fostered with those around her.

Shannyn inspired thousands through her work as an on-air personality with Family Life Radio, where she served as a radio host beginning in 2010 in Tucson, Arizona. Earlier in her career, she worked with Greater Media Detroit from 2000 to 2006 in Ferndale, Michigan, where her warmth, authenticity, and gift for communication resonated with listeners.

Her passion for wellness led her to pursue naturopathic medicine at the Genesis School of Natural Health, earning credentials as a Traditional Naturopathic Doctor in 2019. She also held a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Wright State University, which reflected her lifelong creative and artistic spirit.

As the founder and managing director of Healing Season, Shannyn created personalized, prayer-centered programs that blended holistic wellness with spiritual guidance. She was also the founder of Hope Yoga, where she encouraged balance of mind, body, and spirit through mindful movement, meditation, and faith-based practices. Her work consistently emphasized kindness, healing, and hope.

Friends and loved ones remember Shannyn as a radiant and deeply joyful presence. One close friend shared memories of their bond, describing her as playful, supportive, and unwavering in faith, noting the comfort found in believing they would meet again. Her warmth, humor, and spiritual strength left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

Shannyn Caldwell is survived by her daughter, Alex Biedenbach; her aunts Lynn Cook and Terry Newcomb Masty; her niece Taylor Caldwell; and cousins Ben Cook, Denise Johnson, and Marissa Parker. She also leaves behind countless friends, colleagues, listeners, and students whose lives were enriched by her mentorship, encouragement, and love.

Her legacy continues through the many lives she touched with compassion, faith, and an enduring commitment to helping others heal and grow.
