Former Fall River Man Known for Coaching Across the Area Dies Suddenly

FALL RIVER MASSACHUSETTS, A former Fall River man known for his volunteer work and coaching in multiple sports has passed away unexpectedly.

According to family members and a GoFundMe fundraiser established in his honor, 49-year-old Peter Suneson died Monday following a sudden brain bleed.

Loved ones described Suneson as someone who was deeply passionate about teaching, coaching, and inspiring students and athletes. He also enjoyed supporting his children in their own athletic pursuits.

Friends said that anyone who met Pete could expect an engaging conversation and a warm personality. He was remembered for genuinely enjoying time with others and for his sense of humor.

Suneson is survived by five children, all under the age of 18.
