35-Year-Old Orlando Woman Accused in Attempted Murder Case Linked to Rihanna Obsession

BEVERLY HILLS CALIFORNIA, A 35-year-old woman from Orlando, Florida has been arrested after authorities say she allegedly fired multiple shots toward a home linked to pop star Rihanna in Los Angeles.

Police identified the suspect as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, who was taken into custody Sunday following the shooting incident. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shots were reportedly fired around 1:20 p.m. near a residence in the Beverly Crest area while Rihanna was believed to be inside the property.

Authorities said no one was injured during the incident, though several bullets struck the front gate and exterior of the residence.

Investigators said the suspect vehicle, described as a Tesla with paper plates, was later located at the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping center. Officers arrested Ortiz in the parking lot less than an hour after the incident.

Police reported that a rifle was recovered from inside the vehicle. Ortiz was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, and bail was set at more than $10 million.

Officials are continuing to investigate whether the suspect knew the home belonged to the singer or had specifically targeted the property.

Authorities also confirmed they are reviewing online activity connected to the suspect as part of the investigation.

Records show Ortiz is from Orlando, Florida, though officials have not yet said when she arrived in California or how long she had been in the area.

Investigators are working to determine a possible motive as the case continues.

Rihanna, who shares three children with rapper A$AP Rocky, has not publicly commented on the incident as of Monday.
