3 U.S. Service Members Killed, 5 Seriously Injured During Operation Epic Fury Against Iran

TAMPA FLA, March 1, 9:30 a.m. ET — U.S. military officials have confirmed that three American service members were killed in action and five others were seriously wounded during ongoing operations conducted under Operation Epic Fury.
According to initial reports, several additional personnel suffered minor injuries, including shrapnel wounds and concussions.
Those injured are currently undergoing medical evaluation and treatment and are expected to return to duty as their condition allows.
Major combat operations remain in progress, with response efforts continuing as planned.
Officials described the situation as fluid, noting that developments on the ground may change as operations continue.
In accordance with Department of Defense policy and out of respect for the families of the fallen, the names of the deceased service members will not be released until at least 24 hours after next of kin have been formally notified.
