Point Cook Stabbing: One Person Injured, Three Male Suspects Wanted

POINT COOK, A man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed during an alleged assault late Sunday night, as police continue searching for three offenders believed to be involved.
Emergency services were called to Anglers Avenue around 10 p.m. on February 23 following reports that a man had been seriously injured outside a residence. Upon arrival, officers found a 44-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening and is currently recovering. Police established a crime scene and remained at the property for approximately two hours overnight as investigations were carried out.
Investigators noted visible signs of the incident at the scene, including blood on a door handle and inside the entryway of the residence. Residents were later seen cleaning the affected areas.
Police allege the man was assaulted by three unknown offenders outside the home. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle and have not yet been located. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack, including a possible motive and whether those involved were known to each other.
The incident occurred less than a week after a separate stabbing involving a teenager in the Geelong CBD, drawing attention to recent violent incidents in the broader region.
