Nebraska Incident: Sayde James and Sterling James Identified in Half-Brother’s Death

LINCOLN, NE, — Authorities in Nebraska are investigating a homicide case involving Sayde James and Sterling James following the deaths of Sterling James’ half-brother and another individual earlier this year.
According to investigators, location data and witness statements placed the couple at the apartment shared by James and Titus in Lincoln shortly before 7 p.m. on January 15. Police confirmed that Sterling James and Tanner were half-brothers.
Law enforcement officials said a search warrant was later executed at the Lincoln apartment. During the investigation, Sterling James reportedly admitted to shooting Neville and Tanner and burying their bodies. Investigators believe Sayde James, also known as Titus, assisted in concealing the bodies after the shootings.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office stated that Neville was last seen earlier that day in Stromsburg, Nebraska. Authorities became further concerned when Neville’s doctor contacted law enforcement after missed medical appointments.
Officials continue to review evidence and statements as part of the ongoing investigation. Law enforcement has not released additional details regarding potential charges or court proceedings at this time.
The case remains under investigation, and authorities are expected to provide further updates as more information becomes available.
