Teonia Stokes, 22, Killed in Monroe Shooting, Police Investigating

TEONIA STOKES, Monroe police have released the identities of those involved in a shooting that took place early yesterday morning in the 100 block of GW Carver Drive.
Authorities said the deceased victim was Teonia Stokes, 22, of Social Circle.
A second victim, an adult male, was also injured in the shooting and was identified as Curdarious Williams, 25, of Monroe.
Police said Williams was taken to a local hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries. His current condition has not been made public.
The Monroe Police Department said the shooting remains under active investigation as detectives continue working to determine the events and circumstances that led to the incident.
