Teenager, 16 Injured in Stabbing Incident in Nottingham City Centre
NOTTINGHAM, Nottinghamshire Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in Nottingham city centre on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services were called to George Street at around 5:51 p.m. following reports that a 16-year-old boy had been assaulted. Police said the teenager suffered two stab wounds during the incident.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before he was taken by ambulance to hospital for further treatment. Authorities confirmed that his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering, and his family has been informed.
Officers have cordoned off the area while enquiries continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the assault. Detectives are speaking with witnesses and reviewing any available CCTV footage from the area.
