Lizbeth Zuniga’s Death: New Jersey and New York Mourn Beauty Industry Leader

NEW JERSEY AND NEW YORK, The beauty and consumer goods industries are mourning the loss of Lizbeth Zuniga, founder and chief executive officer of Acquire Beauty, whose leadership and expertise helped shape supply chain and operations strategies for some of the world’s most recognized beauty brands.
Zuniga was widely respected as a global executive with more than 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. With a background in engineering and deep expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations, she built a reputation for guiding brands through complex transformations, acquisitions, and both domestic and international expansions. Through Acquire Beauty, she helped organizations bring their visions to life by defining future-state strategies and building the operational pathways needed to achieve them.
Before founding Acquire Beauty, Zuniga held senior leadership roles across the consumer goods sector. She worked closely with major industry names including L’Oréal, Tarte, Shiseido, SkinCeuticals, NYX, Carol’s Daughter, and Pat McGrath Labs. At L’Oréal, she served as Director of Market Supply Logistics for the Consumer Products Division, where she played a key role in large-scale logistics initiatives, systems implementations, and operational excellence programs.
Zuniga earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Known for her analytical mindset and collaborative leadership style, she became a trusted advisor to both emerging and established beauty brands navigating growth, change, and operational challenges.
According to her family, Zuniga passed away tragically. She is especially missed by those closest to her, including her beloved dog, Lina, with whom she shared a close bond.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Zuniga was admired for her global outlook and commitment to service. Originally from Peru, she split her time between New Jersey and Peru and had a deep passion for travel and community involvement. She volunteered with organizations such as the Fuller Center and Habitat for Humanity International, reflecting her dedication to giving back and supporting others.
Lizbeth Zuniga’s passing leaves a significant void in the beauty industry. She is remembered not only for her strategic vision and professional excellence but also for her generosity, curiosity, and unwavering commitment to helping others succeed. Her legacy lives on through the brands she helped build and the many professionals she mentored throughout her career.
