Clough was diagnosed in 2024 with a Grade 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Despite the seriousness of the diagnosis, he faced the months that followed with notable strength, resilience, and determination. Those close to him said he remained focused on supporting his loved ones while confronting the challenges of his illness with quiet courage.
Jonathan Clough was widely known for his contributions to British television. He worked on Strictly Come Dancing from 2017 to 2019 and also played key roles on popular programs including The Apprentice and Gogglebox.
