$50,000 Reward Offered as FBI Releases New Images of Brown University Shooting Suspect
Federal authorities have released new surveillance images of a person of interest in the deadly shooting at Brown University, as investigators intensify efforts to identify and locate the suspect.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced it is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual responsible for the shooting.
Officials said the newly released images come from surveillance footage that appears to show a man wearing dark clothing, with part of his face concealed by a mask. Investigators believe the individual shown may have critical information related to the attack.
FBI Boston Special Agent in Charge Ted Docks stated that the release of the images is part of a broader public appeal designed to generate new leads and advance the investigation.
Authorities have warned that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous and stressed that members of the public should not attempt to approach him under any circumstances.
Instead, anyone who recognizes the individual or has information regarding his identity, movements, or whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement immediately.
