Sheffield authorities have announced the arrest of a second teenager as part of an ongoing investigation into a serious incident that occurred earlier this week. Officials report that the 16-year-old was taken into custody on November 25 and is currently being held for further questioning.
According to South Yorkshire Police, the investigation relates to an event that took place on London Road near the junction with Ward Place on Monday afternoon. A 16-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after sustaining significant injuries and remains under medical care. Officials have not released further details regarding his condition but confirm that he continues to receive treatment.
Earlier in the week, a 15-year-old had also been arrested as part of the same investigation. Both teenagers remain in custody while detectives continue reviewing information, conducting interviews, and examining available evidence.
