The Arkansas Department of Transportation reported an accident on Interstate 40 westbound near Crystal Hill Road.

According to the IDriveArkansas system, the crash occurred at approximately 8:05 a.m. Officials said three vehicles were involved and that two ambulances responded to the scene.

Authorities described the crash as serious.
