Franklin County Car Crash: Victims Identified After Deadly Fiery Accident

FRANKLIN COUNTY FLA, The Florida Highway Patrol has shared additional information about a tragic single-vehicle crash that resulted in the deaths of three teenagers and left another critically injured on Monday morning along State Road 65.
According to the official crash report, the vehicle was carrying four young passengers from Georgia. While traveling on the highway, the car, for reasons still under investigation, crossed into the northbound lane and then veered off the east shoulder of the road.
The vehicle subsequently collided with a tree and quickly caught fire.
Witnesses at the scene responded immediately and managed to pull the front-seat passenger out of the vehicle before it became fully engulfed in flames.
The remaining occupants, including the driver, 18-year-old Jackson Mobley from Alpharetta, Georgia, and two passengers, 17-year-old Jaylyn Fehr and 16-year-old Charlotte Martin from Cumming, Georgia, were unable to escape. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The surviving passenger, identified as 17-year-old Jamison Mobley of Alpharetta, was transported by Survival Flight to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
Officials confirmed that the group had been traveling to St. George Island to spend time with family and friends during their school spring break when the crash occurred.
The incident has had a significant impact on both the Franklin County community and the victims’ hometowns in Georgia.
Family members, friends, and community leaders have described Jackson, Jaylyn, and Charlotte as remarkable young individuals known for their kindness, strong academic performance, and active involvement in sports and community activities.
Jamison Mobley is now facing a difficult recovery, both physically and emotionally, as she deals with the loss of her brother and close friends.
Multiple agencies responded to the crash, including the Florida Highway Patrol, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County Emergency Medical Services, and the Eastpoint Volunteer Fire Department. Authorities also acknowledged the efforts of off-duty law enforcement personnel and bystanders who stopped to help, noting that their quick actions helped save a life.
Community members and officials have expressed their condolences and support for the affected families, recognizing the deep sense of loss felt across communities. In memory of the victims, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has announced plans to place memorial crosses at the crash site with the names of the three teenagers.
