WHITE SETTLEMENT TEXAS, Authorities are responding to a reported shooting near the intersection of Wyatt Drive and Mirike Drive, prompting a large law enforcement presence and precautionary lockdowns at nearby schools.
White Settlement Police, assisted by Fort Worth police officers and an aerial support unit, are actively searching the surrounding neighborhood for three male suspects who were seen fleeing the scene on foot shortly after the incident.
Officials confirmed that one person was injured in the shooting. The victim’s condition has not been released, and no further details about the nature of the injuries were immediately available.
As a safety measure, nearby schools were placed on lockdown while officers work to secure the area and locate the suspects. Police emphasized that the lockdowns are precautionary and part of standard safety protocols during an active search.
