New Hampshire AG Opens Investigation Into Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting in Manchester

AG Investigates a fatal officer-involved shooting that happened early Saturday morning in Manchester, New Hampshire, according to officials.
MANCHESTER, N.H. — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office said it has opened an investigation after officers responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of South Mammoth Road around 4:45 a.m. initiated a pursuit. The pursuit ended with a crash and a man fleeing the scene, according to Attorney General John M. Formella.
Officials said the man later encountered police on South Mammoth Road and was shot. Life-saving measures were attempted, and he was transported to a hospital, where he later died. The man’s identity has not been released.
The Attorney General’s Office said the identity of the officers who used deadly force will not be disclosed until formal interviews are conducted. No additional information was immediately available at the time of the report.
