Faulkner Crash: Emergency Crews Respond to Major Multi-Vehicle Collision at Budds Creek Rd & Crain Hwy

FAULKNER, MD — Emergency responders were dispatched to a serious multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Budds Creek Road and Crain Highway in Faulkner, Maryland, where three vehicles collided, resulting in several injuries and a large medical response.

First responders arriving at the scene evaluated multiple patients, prompting a total of nine medical transports due to the number and severity of injuries.

Emergency officials reported that five patients required Advanced Life Support (ALS) transport for significant or potentially life-threatening injuries. Four additional patients were transported under Basic Life Support (BLS) care.

Because one individual was categorized as Priority 1, Maryland State Police Aviation Command’s Trooper 7 helicopter was dispatched to provide rapid air medical transport.

The crash caused notable traffic delays as fire crews, EMS teams, and law enforcement worked together to treat victims, manage the scene, and clear the roadway.
