Waco Police Identify Man Found Deceased on Colcord Avenue
Authorities in Waco have identified the man found deceased on Colcord Avenue early Monday morning as 40-year-old Thomas Earl Talton. Officers confirmed that Talton was located in the 2100 block of Colcord with injuries consistent with a shooting.
Police were called to the scene around 1:20 a.m. after a caller reported seeing a man lying on the ground. Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures, but Talton was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators are now searching for a suspect in the case, and no additional details about the circumstances leading up to the incident have been released. Authorities say the investigation remains active as they work to determine what happened.
