Dallas Police Investigate Shooting Outside Oak Cliff Gas Station
Dallas police responded to a shooting Monday night outside a gas station in the Oak Cliff area, according to officials. The incident was reported just before 8 p.m. in the 2500 block of South Hampton Road.
When officers arrived, they learned that the victim had been shot by an unidentified individual. The injured person was taken to a hospital by a private vehicle, and authorities have not released information regarding their current condition.
Footage captured by FOX 4 crews at the scene showed a pickup truck with a damaged window, which police believe may be connected to the incident. The truck remained at the location as investigators worked to collect evidence and document the scene.
At this time, detectives have not determined a motive, and it is unclear whether the victim and the shooter knew each other. Police have not yet released the victim’s identity or provided additional updates.
