Church Hill Community Mourns James and Levi Stewart After Tragic Murder-Suicide

The Church Hill community is mourning a tragic incident that claimed the lives of a brother-in-law and nephew inside a local residence in Church Hill, Tennessee.
According to the Church Hill Police Department, officers responded to a call at approximately 4:39 p.m. on December 29, 2025, at a home located at 419 Greenland Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals deceased inside the residence. Authorities identified them as James L. Stewart, 69, and Levi Sterling Stewart, 20. Police confirmed that both men lived at the home.
Investigators reported that both individuals suffered apparent gunshot-related injuries.
