WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP MICHIGAN, Authorities are responding to a major security incident involving reports of an active shooter at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, on Thursday afternoon.
According to initial reports from law enforcement and emergency alerts, the incident began when a vehicle reportedly crashed into the synagogue building, sparking a fire and producing visible smoke at the scene.
Witness reports and early information from authorities indicate that gunshots were fired following the crash, prompting an immediate and large-scale response from local and state law enforcement agencies.
