Franklin County Man Pleads Guilty in Child Sex Trafficking Case

FRANKLIN COUNTY, a Franklin County man who was previously listed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list has pleaded guilty in federal court in a child sex trafficking case.
On Thursday, April 6, 2026, 61-year-old Donald Eugene Fields pleaded guilty to one count of child sex trafficking.
He admitted that he accepted items of value from co-defendant Theodore “Ted” John Sartori Sr., 65, in exchange for sexual access to a 14-year-old girl between 2013 and 2016.
Court records show that in August 2024, Sartori pleaded guilty to a felony charge of travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.
Sartori was ordered to pay more than $25,000 in restitution to the victim. He also admitted to providing Fields with cash, a car, a motorcycle, Christmas gifts, and vacations in exchange for access to the victim during the same period.
Sartori has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Fields is scheduled to be sentenced on July 10, 2026.
