Police Shoot Suspect After Woman Stabbed in Traverse City Domestic Violence Incident

TRAVERSE CITY MICHIGAN, Authorities in Traverse City responded to a domestic violence incident that escalated into an officer-involved shooting at a medical office building located at 426 Munson Place, Suite 202, in Grand Traverse County.
According to preliminary emergency reports, police were dispatched after receiving calls reporting shots fired in connection with a domestic situation at the location.
When officers arrived, the encounter resulted in an officer discharging their weapon.
Emergency medical personnel initiated CPR on a gunshot victim, who authorities believe may be the suspected assailant.
The individual had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was receiving life-saving measures at the scene.
A second victim, identified as a 58-year-old woman, was also located at the scene suffering from multiple stab wounds.
She was treated by emergency responders and transported for medical care. Her current condition has not yet been publicly released.
Officials confirmed that no law enforcement officers were injured during the incident.
