INDIANAPOLIS INDIANA, A late-night shooting at the Meadows Apartments on Indianapolis’ northeast side left one person dead as police continue investigating the incident.
According to initial reports, officers were called to the 4100 block of Edgemere Court, just off 42nd Street, early Saturday morning after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a victim suffering from serious injuries. The individual was transported to a nearby hospital but later died from those injuries.
Authorities said four people were detained at the scene while investigators began examining what led to the shooting.
Police have not yet released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident or whether charges will be filed.
