CLEVELAND, Authorities are currently investigating a fatal car accident that resulted in the death of 35-year-old Jamerica Mitchell on Monday evening.
The incident took place just before 9:00 p.m. near the intersection of East 71st Street and Quincy Avenue in Cleveland.
Based on initial information provided by officials, Mitchell was traveling in a vehicle along with two adult male passengers when the crash occurred. The exact circumstances surrounding the collision have not yet been confirmed and are still under investigation.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found Mitchell with severe injuries. She was quickly transported to University Hospitals for urgent medical care, where she was later pronounced dead.
The two male passengers in the vehicle also suffered injuries; however, their conditions were not considered life-threatening. Both individuals were taken to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.
At this time, authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash. The case remains under active investigation as officials continue to gather more information about what led to the incident.
