Forrest Dreher Killed in Shelby County Motorcycle Crash, Investigation Ongoing

SHELBY COUNTY ALABAMA, Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who died after a late-night crash as 29-year-old Forrest H. Dreher of Birmingham.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday along Cahaba Valley Road near Broken Bow Drive, approximately eight miles east of Hoover.
Officials reported that Dreher was operating a CFMOTO 450SS motorcycle when the vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch.
The impact caused him to be thrown from the motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries.
Emergency personnel transported Dreher to UAB Hospital, where he received treatment for critical injuries.
Despite medical efforts, he later died from those injuries and was pronounced deceased on Thursday.
State troopers are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
