Cincinnati Shooting Leaves 13 Injured; Mass Casualty Incident Declared at Riverfront Live

CINCINNATI OHIO, Thirteen people were injured in a mass shooting late Saturday night at Riverfront Live, prompting authorities to declare a mass casualty incident.
Police say the shooting occurred during a birthday celebration for DJ Fresh at the venue located at 4343 Kellogg Ave. Officers were dispatched after receiving reports of multiple people shot inside the event space.
More than three dozen police units and approximately 15 ambulances responded to the scene. First responders secured the area, provided emergency medical care and transported victims to nearby hospitals.
Preliminary information indicates that eight females and five males sustained gunshot wounds. Officials have not yet released details about the severity of the injuries.
Police confirmed that one firearm was recovered at the scene. No officers were injured during the response.
Authorities have not released information about suspects, and it remains unclear whether any arrests have been made. Detectives are continuing to investigate what led to the fight and subsequent gunfire.
