25-Year-Old Jesus Delgado Killed in Northside Neighborhood Shooting in Syracuse

SYRACUSE NEW YORK, The Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office has identified the victim in Tuesday’s fatal shooting on Syracuse’s Northside as 25-year-old Jesus Delgado.
According to the Syracuse Police Department, officers were alerted to gunfire at approximately 12:15 a.m. on March 3 after ShotSpotter technology detected multiple rounds fired in the 100 block of Lawrence Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located Delgado suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his midsection and chest.
He was transported to Upstate University Hospital for emergency medical treatment but later died from his injuries.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding a possible suspect or motive at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
