SHREWSBURY MASSACHUSETTS, A Massachusetts woman has outlined her plans after winning a $1 million prize on a State Lottery scratch ticket, with one of her goals being to move into a new home.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Colleen Sweet of Shrewsbury won the $1 million prize in the “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game.

Sweet opted for the cash option and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. She stated that she plans to invest a portion of the winnings and purchase a new home.
The winning ticket was purchased at Turnpike Liquors, located at 166 Boston Road in Shrewsbury. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.
