Pennsylvania Fire Incident: Three Family Members Found Dead in Clymer

CLYMER PENNSYLVANIA, Two children and their father were discovered deceased inside a residence following an early morning fire in Clymer Borough on Friday.
The Clymer Volunteer Fire Company reported that crews were dispatched to a duplex in the 400 block of Hancock Street at approximately 4:14 a.m. on February 13. Several neighboring departments also responded to assist at the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy flames engulfing both sides of the duplex. Authorities confirmed that both units were occupied when the fire started.
While several residents were able to exit the building safely, Kirk Lee Fabiszewski and his two daughters were unable to escape. Emergency responders later located the father and both children deceased inside the home. Two family pets also died as a result of the fire.
Officials stated that the surviving occupants of the duplex managed to get out safely and are currently receiving support from relatives.
Pennsylvania State Police, including fire marshals, responded to investigate the origin and cause of the blaze. Troopers indicated that there is no evidence suggesting foul play at this time, though the investigation remains ongoing.
Following the tragic loss, the children’s mother, Brittany Marsh, shared a brief statement expressing appreciation for the community’s support.
“I don’t have a lot to say right now, as I haven’t even really had a moment to process with the waves of everything going on, but I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart that I appreciate every message,” she wrote.
The close-knit Clymer community continues to grieve as authorities work to determine the official cause of the fire.
