YUKON OKLAHOMA, Authorities are investigating a shooting involving an 18-year-old that occurred near Four Star Fitness on Cornwell Drive in Yukon.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene after reports of gunfire in the fitness center’s parking lot. Dispatch communications indicated the victim, believed to be approximately 18 years old, was breathing and responsive when first responders arrived. A white Lexus was referenced in early reports as possibly being connected to the incident.
Multiple emergency units responded, including a fire engine, an ambulance, and several police vehicles. Officers focused their attention on two vehicles located at the west end of the parking lot. After arriving, police secured the area and placed crime scene tape around both vehicles as the investigation began.
Officials have not released information regarding the victim’s current condition, whether the individual was transported to a hospital, or if any suspects have been identified. The events leading up to the shooting have not yet been clarified.
