Police Looking for Missing 18-Year-Old From Vaughan

VAUGHAN, Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 18-year-old woman who has not been seen since Friday morning.
Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau said Ivie was last seen on Friday, January 9, 2026, at around 10 a.m. in the area of Weston Road and Villa Royale.
Police said Ivie has not returned home or contacted her family since she was last seen, which has raised concerns for her safety. Investigators noted that she is familiar with using public transit.
Ivie is described as being 18 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build and short black hair. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a puffy navy-blue jacket, grey boots, and carrying a La Vie en Rose tote bag.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen Ivie or has information about her whereabouts to come forward.

Police reminded the public that crime prevention is a shared responsibility and encouraged residents to stay informed through York Region’s Community Safety Data Portal or participate in community safety initiatives such as the Security Camera Registry.
