KALAMAZOO MICHIGAN, The Township of Kalamazoo Police Department said a 20-year-old man was killed in a shooting early Saturday morning.
The shooting occurred on Nichols Road, north of West Main Street. Police said a caller reported that three individuals were involved in an altercation before shots were fired.
Officers and other emergency personnel responded to the scene and located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
TKPD said two suspects fled the area following the shooting. Investigators believe the suspects were known to the victim.
