Cooper Riley Camferdam Arrested After Incident at Circle K Gas Station

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — An 18-year-old man has been arrested following a violent incident at a Circle K gas station in Hot Springs, according to the Hot Springs Police Department.

The incident occurred late Saturday night when police responded to reports of a large fight at the Circle K located at 2975 Malvern Avenue at approximately 11:30 p.m. Officers arriving at the scene found a male victim identified as Noah Epperson, 20, suffering from multiple injuries. Epperson was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

During the investigation, police identified Cooper Riley Camferdam, 18, of Benton, Arkansas, as the suspect involved in the assault. Authorities said video evidence showed the incident involved more than a minor altercation.

On Monday, January 19, 2026, the Hot Springs Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Camferdam on a charge of first-degree battery, a Y felony. He was taken into custody with assistance from the Benton Police Department.

Camferdam was transported to the Hot Springs Police Department for processing and later booked into the Garland County Detention Center.

Police noted that earlier information provided to investigators did not immediately lead to action because the victim initially declined to press charges. However, further review of evidence led to the arrest.

The Hot Springs Police Department said the investigation remains ongoing and that additional persons of interest have been identified, which could result in further arrests.
