Coach Quinton Dixon Deactivates Social Media Following Exposure of Chat Screenshots

QUINTON DIXON, has deactivated his account after chat screenshots were exposed, prompting an internal response from school officials in East Baton Rouge Parish.
A Westdale Middle School counselor was placed on administrative leave Thursday following allegations that he had engaged in inappropriate messaging with a minor, according to officials.
A post circulating on social media accused Quinton Dixon of sending inappropriate messages to a minor student. East Baton Rouge Parish Schools said they were made aware of the allegations and immediately began reviewing the matter.
In a statement, an EBR Schools spokesperson said the district acted promptly after learning of the claims.
“Today, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System was made aware of these allegations and immediately launched an investigation. The employee has been placed on administrative leave while the Office of Human Resources conducts a thorough investigation. The district takes all such matters seriously and will take appropriate action based on the findings in accordance with our policies.”
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details have been released at this time.
