Mount Pleasant Community Mourns Death of Ava Claire Hageman
Community mourns: The Mount Pleasant, Texas community is grieving the death of 13-year-old Ava Claire Hageman, who died over the weekend, according to authorities.
Ava Claire was the daughter of Jennifer Hageman and sister of Holland. She was connected with the Chapel Hill Junior High School and Mount Pleasant Junior High School communities, where friends and those who knew her have shared messages of support and remembrance.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, December 11, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. Bates-Cooper Sloan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Ava Claire’s memory to support community projects, including efforts tied to Dellwood Park and a proposed community pool. Donations may be made through Pilgrim’s Bank by contacting Tisha at 903-434-2012, requesting Jason Snodgrass, or asking a bank teller for assistance.
