Authorities Release Names of Four Victims Killed at Stockton Child’s Birthday Party
The tragic shooting at a child’s birthday celebration in Stockton has now resulted in the public identification of four victims, officials confirmed Sunday.
According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, the individuals killed in the attack were 30, 22, 14, and 8 years old. Their names are being shared with the consent of the families as the community continues to process the emotional impact of the event.
The shooting occurred Saturday evening at a banquet venue on Lucile Avenue, where a large family gathering was underway. Authorities previously confirmed that 14 people were struck by gunfire, with four pronounced deceased at the scene.
While investigators believe the attack may have been targeted, officials emphasized that the motive remains under active review. No arrests have been made, and detectives continue interviewing witnesses, gathering video evidence, and analyzing the large crime scene.
Local leaders have expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy.
