Police Outline Timeline of Domestic-Related Tragedy That Claimed Four Lives in Tiffin

Authorities in Tiffin have released new information regarding a fatal domestic-related incident on November 19, 2025, that resulted in the deaths of three victims and the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Ryan Eagon.
Police responded around 6:24 p.m. to reports of gunfire and distress in the 100 block of Huss Street. When officers arrived, they found multiple individuals suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
According to investigators, the incident occurred as a mother was collecting belongings from the residence during an ongoing domestic conflict. Arrangements had been made with 29-year-old Dustin Willey, the father of her oldest child, to help with the move while Eagon was believed to be away for work.
Detectives say the mother and Dustin were inside the home when the two children—ages 7 years and 7 months—were waiting near a vehicle outside. After hearing the older child cry out, the adults went outside and saw Eagon in the driveway.
Based on early findings, Eagon confronted Dustin and then fired multiple shots. Investigators believe he also turned the weapon toward the children before continuing to fire. Eagon later died from what appears to have been a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The injured children were brought back inside the home as the mother called for help. Emergency responders provided aid at the scene, and Dustin was transported to Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he later died. The younger child and Eagon were pronounced deceased at the scene, while the older child was transported to a medical facility and later passed away.
No officers discharged their weapons, and no law enforcement personnel were harmed.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Seneca County Coroner’s Office are assisting with the ongoing case. Autopsies are pending.
Local officials acknowledged the profound impact of the tragedy on the families, first responders, and the broader community. Counseling and support resources are being organized for those affected.
Family members shared messages expressing their grief and describing the emotional toll of the incident. They emphasized the importance of seeking help in situations involving domestic conflict and asked the community to keep all families involved in their thoughts.
Further updates will be released as the investigation continues.
